In 2008 two male crews – quad and octuple sculls – became the champions of Lithuania. The quad scull from Klaipeda represented Lithuania in the World Youth Championship held in Brandenburg (Germany) and managed to get among ten strongest world teams.

The Society initiated the gathering of historical documents, recollections and photographs, on the basis of which the book They Developed Lithuanian Communications. Biographical Essays was published. This historical and valuable book containing 564 pages embraces the period from 1917 to nowadays. The book contains over a hundred biographies of the most famous telecommunications workers and scientists.
